The members of the 2008-2009 Senior High Quiz Bowl are as follows:
Seniors: Wyatt Clark and Ben Wolfe
Juniors: Tell Deatrich
Sophomores: Chris Farr, Kelcey Garey, and Marty Warneke
Freshman: Jacob Brennemann, Kash Houser and Josh Leas
The team got off to a great start with a victory at their own invitational on November 11. The 3rd Annual Medicine Valley Invitational was a round-robin tournament with 10 teams competing from Medicine Valley, Eustis/Farnam (2), Southwest (2), McCook, Dundy Co/Stratton, Southern Valley, Cambridge, and Maywood.
The Medicine Valley team had a record of 8-1 and finished in first place.
The Roughriders team (from Southwest High School) finished the night with 5-3 and a second place finish.
At the Cambridge Invite on November 24, the Medicine Valley Team had an 0-2 record. They lost their first match to McCook 5-25, and their second match to Hitchcock County 45-40.
The members of the Junior High Team are:
8th Graders: Jaden Clark, Lucas Gleisberg, Brendan Johnsen, Colleen Melvin, and Rulon Taylor
7th Graders: Cory Merrigan, Connor Russell, and Sage Schmidt
