			<title>ENGLISH &amp; SPELLING</title>

			<description>The sixth grade students are learning about the people, places, and history of the Western Hemisphere.  
&lt;p&gt;They take a geography quiz weekly, which they should be prepared for since they have the answers about a week before they will take the quiz.

			<title>American History</title>
			<description>FIFTH GRADE AMERICAN HISTORY
&lt;p&gt;The fifth graders are learning about the explores that came to America and the people that were here when they arrived.  They will learn all about the development of colonies and eventually, the move to fight in order that the United States would be free from Great Britain.</description>

			<description>The fourth graders are learning about cells.  When we complete this area of study we will move on to Animal and Plant Growth and Adaptations.
They are working hard, and I am enjoying working with them, for the first time, in an academic area.</description>

			<title>Mrs. Hammond</title>
			<description>Welcome to the Sixth Grade Homeroom!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hello,
my name is Cece Hammond. I have a teaching certificate in Elementary
Education. I earned my degree from the University of Nebraska at
Kearney.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;My husband, Denny, and I have six sons. Tyson is
currently working at Madison Middle School in North Platte teaching
Math. He got married during the summer to Clancy, and they are staying in North Platte.  Ryan is employed by McCook Public Power as a linesmen.  He and his
wife, Mary, have two sons, Gavin and Braxten. Kanen is working as a cowboy at
Hi-Gain Feedlot in Farnam.  Kanen got married to Meghan, and they are living in the area. Brenen started school in Norfolk at Northeast Community College, in the linesmen program. Nolan is a junior at Medicine Valley High School.  He is looking forward to the basketball season and golf.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
This year I am teaching several different subjects to the fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students:fourth grade science, fifth grade English and American history, and
sixth grade English, social studies, and spelling.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I love
teaching here and am very excited to work with your children. I hope we
all have a great year working together to help your students become the
